Fuente Osmeña at Night

March 1st, 2009 | 20 Comments | Posted in Tourist Spots

Surely, you’ll miss Cebu all the more especially to those used to date at Fuente Osmena, hahaha. This was shot in December of 2008, and really captures the magical atmosphere of Cebu. It’s a wonderful place that I’m sure holds many precious memories for people.

So if you’ve ever been in the area, maybe on a date, a night out with friends or just a quiet afternoon sat in Cebu with a wi-fi netbook and a few games on www.partypoker.com as you’re relaxing in the nice weather, then look at the wonderful pictures and leave a few comments on your own experiences!

The iconic fountain at Fuente Osmeña rotonda. See the old photo of Fuente Osmeña.

Throngs of people, dating, sightseeing, watching the show, thieves lie in wait hehe..

Variety show, dancers showing off.

What used to be Park Place Hotel.

Now called, Rajah Park Hotel.

Hi! I did not know that Fuente Osmena is gorgeous like these photos. I missed these scenery during my vacation last Christmas. What date did you took these photos? Yes you’re right,  me too missed those memories while I was still in Cebu.

Nice. Try getting a shot from the top of midtown hotel and you’ll get the perfect view of the place. Did try it once way back and sure is a picture-perfect scenery.

  6. Cebuano Says:

Sige, will try to do that next time.

The rotonda at Fuente Osmena used to be big and green. We lived across Southern Islands Hospital at B Rodriguez. I passed by it 2 years ago and it looks worn out.
    Nice pictures, good job. Thanks.

  8. Cebuano Says:

    Thanks Raquel.

Yeah, because of the number of people that visit Rotonda the grass is no longer that green as it used to be.

  9. TANYA Says:

Mooon Cafe – restobar in Guadalupe. Affordable good food.

Outpost – restobar. Good food, good music. You might find Budoy there performing, or simply hanging out.

Cebu is the best place to stay, nice places, beautiful cebuana, handsome cebuano (like me and cebuano) but most of all, safer than other places in Philippines. That is why i love Cebu so much…
