Whenever you see the photo the Magellan’s Cross, you think of Cebu City. Magellan’s Cross was erected by the Portuguese explorers when they arrived on April 21, 1521. It was named after their lead explorer, Ferdinand Magellan, or Fernando de Magallanes in Spanish.
This is the part two of the photos of South Reclamation Project road. On this coastal area will rise Cebu City’s future central business district. Malls, residential buildings and office skyscrapers.
Cebu Sourth Reclamation Project (SRP) is Tomas Osmena’s undertaking for Cebu’s economic development. I used to dislike Tomas’s guts. Now, i’m beginning to get mesmerized by his goodlooks. Hahaha. Bitaw, he is a good city manager.
Above is it’s formal name in Spanish. But it can called simply Sto. Niño de Cebu or just Sto. Niño (read as Ninio). If you’re interested in going to Sto. Nino de Cebu, the map is just below this page.

Went out with friends to Terraces in Ayala Center to eat. We chose Mooon Cafe. It’s three Os. The price is so affordable, and the taste is good. Worth the money paid. According to Department of Tourism’s 2009 first quarter data, Cebu is number one in tourist arrivals both by local and foreign. Boracay only comes second.
This is the exterior photos of my alma mater, University of San Carlos. I first step on the floors of this campus in the year 1990. Now you have an idea of my young age. Hahaha.
I gathered some photos of Cebu City subway construction from other photographers and uploaded them on Youtube. I made it into video so nobody can steal it since i don’t own the photos. The target finish date of the subway is on June 2010.
